PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The investors set themselves the goal of building a new one-family, ground-floor house in the vicinity of the city of Ljubljana.

A great desire for practicality dictated a ground-floor house, with elements inside of it being as simple as possible, that allow for easier cleaning.

Due to the configuration of the rooms, the house has practically no corridors, which enables maximum space utilization.

The more intimate sleeping areas are visually separated from the main living area by a partition wall, which also dictates the direction of the happenings in the room.

Although the central space is quite uniform and could be monotonous, the materiality of the wooden paneling and the combination with the blue paint, make it much more dynamic. The difference in materiality separates the kitchen from the dining room and from the living room.

The main floor is furnished much more calmly, which encourages us to relax and contemplate. The design language that appears in the bathroom, which belongs to the bedroom, becomes bolder and is connected to the common living room with the use of blue color.
