Linear Composition

The company Sonne ins Haus d.o.o., is engaged in the production and installation of summer and winter gardens, glass canopies, windows, front doors, and sliding systems. With the planned expansion of business premises, new outdoor and indoor showrooms were also designed. The composition of the workshop, business premises, and exhibits also includes a multi-apartment building, which encroaches on the exhibition areas in the north.

Access for visitors in the north awaits a paved path where one can walk through the actual products by Sonne ins Haus- the path includes a presentation of different types of canopies and a summer kitchen with glass sliding systems, past the semi-public pool toward the main entrance, a uniquely designed winter garden.

The new business premises are designed as a winter garden wall with monumental vertical annexes. On the ground floor of the western part, there is an internal exhibition space with the presentation of technical details through actual models and a space for a conversation with a consultant. The eastern part of the annex on the ground floor serves as a dining room with kitchen and dressing and bathroom areas for employees. The highest floor of the eastern annex is intended for a large meeting room, which is connected to the west floor by a bridge, thus giving the director’s office easy and direct access. The new workstations, located on the first floor of the west annex, are surrounded by natural light and create a dynamic and fresh working atmosphere through a hanging glass façade combined with Corten verticals.

The harmony of the space is achieved by the compositional play of lines, created by a combination of vertical slats mounted on a facade of concrete slabs, which provide yoplot comfort in a passive house. The design connects with the dynamics of glass details and anthracite perimeter window frames. The newly planned expansion allows the company to establish itself in the market as advanced and modern.
