PROJECT DESCRIPTION
With the increase of the family size, the existing house became extra full, so the multigenerational family decided on a modern extension that follows the existing morphology and connects with the existing building into a coherent whole with a new, more energy-efficient facade. A new entrance to the building is planned through a glass staircase, which serves as the central center of vertical communications, and at the same time becomes an important heat source, which supplies the existing and new parts of the building.
In the extended part of the building, a new traffic arrangement and a new connection to the public road are also planned. The uneven terrain provides a semi-basement space for two garaged parking spaces, through which access to the main entrance. The floors have new kitchen areas and additional living areas, which open to the west to spacious green areas. The attic, where the new bedrooms are located, has also been used.
The material of the new building is a classic silicate facade, on which large window openings with dynamic unique panel curtains are attached. Motorized, they are made of stainless steel with raster incised openings, through which light penetrates into the room with a textured play of rays. They also appear on the central staircase and selected existing openings, thus rounding off the new building into a texturally rounded whole.
The interior design follows current trends and current trends; wide-profile parquet, in darker shades with minimalist and ambitious spatial compositions that create open living-living spaces.
