PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A sporty and extremely active family of four decided to escape to nature or to live in a place without city noise and speed, due to their preferences. The desire was to create an endless connection with the outside space and to open the living and living spaces to nature. Better views were sought on the upper floor because the height of the house above the canopy opens up views of Šmarna Gora, the Alps, and the Sava river valley.

The house is oriented with openings in the northeast-southwest direction for the maximum possible sunlight and to prevent views from the neighboring plots into the interior of the investor’s house. The existing terrain, in the area where the construction is planned, has a gentle slope, and the house is slightly dug in from the north side, which allows us to plan the terrain for the house and the pool. The driveway to the house is located on the north side, which allows each user a quick connection to the interior of the house.

The desire for a connection between the user and nature led us like a red thread through the project, and the investor designed a house that would allow him to enjoy fresh air and silence every day. The rooms on the upper floor, which grow like a cloud out of the greenery, are directed towards the most beautiful views on all sides of the house. At the same time, the views in not a single room are open to the neighbors. This ensures the desired privacy and peace in the house and in the plot.
