PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Švabičeva ulica is staging an unfinished new neighborhood with a series of twins across a vast green landscape in the far west of Vrhnika. Unfinished three-storey twins are directed towards agricultural areas, and in the distance there is a view of forest areas.

The conceptual design of the interior layout stems from the recognition of the surrounding natural values and the tendency to orient the main spaces towards the highest quality views.

On the first floor, an internal parking area is organized with enough space to supply the living unit with economical heating and ventilation systems. The central location of the first floor is intended for a subtly oriented entrance, and at the contact with the neighboring building, a space for socializing along the wine wall is provided.

The middle floor is intended exclusively for family living. The complete open space intended for socializing carries its heart in a uniquely designed staircase, which with its elements connects both the dining room and the living room through a large, bright kitchen, which offers the most beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. The combination of light oak wood and dark and cool anthracite elements warms the personality of the modern family.

On the top, attic floor, there is a sleeping area with a large family bathroom, which remains in the stylish atmosphere of the whole home. Everything from the third floor, the bathroom is connected to the ground floor via a vertical shaft, which serves as a direct connection to the laundry.

Each of the bedrooms has its own balcony and thus an emphasis on the view. The rooms are softly connected via an economical short corridor, separated from each other by sound-insulating gypsum-cardboard panels. With the exception of the bathroom, the materiality of the top floor is provided in softer tones, and the light herringbone in the pressure adds a non-invasive texture to the space.
