The idyllic location at the edge of the forest with views of the city valley is a place where a single-family house is planned, with innovative stylistic design and panoramic views.

The building with a gross floor area of ​​500 m2 is partially excavated. The central living area is located on the ground floor plateau, and the attic is covered by two connected roofs, which reduce the visual scope of the house and connect the building with the hilly landscape. An additional element is the elongated panels, which potentiate the fragmentation and harmonize the entire object into a unique identity.

The wish of the clients was to make the most of the space with additional areas for socializing. Thus, in the basement, there is an additional space for socializing, with gently diffused light and a view of the surroundings.

A large open living room on the ground floor connects to the outdoor terrace, which has a built-in summer kitchen. With views of the village and the nearby hills and access to the terrace, an interesting two-story space is created, connecting the ground floor with the first floor. The central element of the space is a flat open staircase that leads to a seemingly floating “catwalk” path, through which the bedrooms are connected. A special feature of the children’s rooms is the connection to the gallery, where a small private space for children’s play is created.

The building is located on the highest point of a hilly plot, which rises by 10 meters and with a thoughtful design of access and roofs achieves a cascading increase in terrain.
