The industrial approach has been delicately intertwined with a sense of home for a family of three. The strong plumbing pipes are only softened with a light birch wood, indigenous to the southern land of Slovenia.

Project Brief
Sitting at the top of the hill, claiming a magnificent overlook of the city; a short walk from the Main Square filled with epicurean retailers, cafes with live music, restaurants and the lush green enclave of Dolenjski muzej Gardens, this three level, 12 apartment building, is an newly designed vertical community and an extraordinary example of PAM Lte’s commitment to contributing spaces of living to the city called Novo mesto (“New City”).
AAB’s finalized design in all pieces of furniture and details in the apartment brought a tactile life and a conversive story with seductive aesthetic qualities. Broad openings to the entire city skyline from the living room invite the inhabitants to join in the communal spaces of the apartment and reside there for the majority of the time.
The original narrow corridor was enlarged, and the master room was redesigned with a private wardrobe. We have replaced the flooring, wall coverings, sanitary equipment, electrical systems, plumbing and air conditioning, interior and entrance doors, windows, lighting, furniture, and the carpentry items throughout the apartment. We connected to the dreams and desires of the client. From the beginning, and created a shared vision that guided us in designing the apartment.
AAB continues to be inspired by the ever-developing social and urban structures of Novo mesto. This, partnered with PAM Lte has resulted in various residential developments in which functionality nurtures connection and inhabitants well being.
